Garage to Office Conversion

Client: Commercial Client.

Location: Lincoln.

Description: The project is located at the outskirts of Doddington near Lincoln within easy access to the A46. The site is on a commercial property on a multipurpose five acre industrial site called Cedar Parc. This is one of Newell’s projects which was developed to meet their own needs as well as that of other local business.  

We were contracted to convert and change existing industrial parking units into contemporary offices through RIBA Stages 1-4. Completed 2014.

Clients Brief: Convert existing industrial parking units into contemporary office spaces.

Holiday Lodges

Client: Commercial Client

Location: Nottingham

Description: The site is located within the 150 acres of breath taking views of Goosedale Wedding Venue , a true sanctuary within unique setting in Nottinghamshire. To the current selection of exclusive private rooms with contemporary bars and terraces for hire, this unique lakeside development increases the flexibility and opportunity for clients & families to stay within the facilities for a longer period and celebrate a unique experience within a natural lake surrounding.

We were contracted to design a masterplan as well as the individual bespoke sustainable contemporary lodges which would suit the modern luxury end of the self catering market focused on family / friends holidays as well as a romantic getaways. The use of timber and green roofs not only allows the lodges to blend in respectfully to its surroundings, but these materials contain sustainable attributes required in todays eco design aspirations and codes.

Student Accommodation

Client: Commercial Client.

Location: 1 Howard St, Nottingham NG1 3LT

Description: To gain planning for a 69 bed student accommodation

scheme with 3 retail units at ground level. Planning has been granted and currently moving towards RIBA stages 05 - 07.

We also worked alongside the council to deliver a Masterplan concept for the remaining neighbouring sites in order to create a consistent language around the site if it was to be developed in the future

Wildlife Park & Masterplan

Location: Wolds Wildlife Park, Horncastle

Description: We have been commissioned to design Reception / Café & Shop, 4 x Units for local Businesses, an Education Centre and Toilet Blocks for Wold Wildlife Park based in Horncastle. The park currently houses more than 200 animals.

Working alongside client and council to gain planning permission for a new Zoo in Horncastle. The animals are all rescued from circuses which are closing down and re-homed in this location.

Description: Working on a design and build contract with G F Tomlinson to uplift / refurbish the existing external and internal spaces of Wingerworth Parish hall. Internal layout and spaces to be redesigned to be flexible in order allow new uses in order to increase further income streams.

Mixed Use Masterplan & Development

Description: We have been commissioned to design a mix use development in a disused industrial area by the river of a major city.

We plan to design a new economic drive force for the area, an opportunity to attract visitors and tourism that will see this location as a new socioeconomic hub.

The development will include a city of entertainment, family leisure and tourism, apart hotels, shopping, theatres, sports and much more.

Description: Residential development comprising 12 dwellings (6 x two bed apartments and 6 x one bed apartments) on land which currently accommodates 13 Sherwood Rise.

We have been commissioned to take the design from RIBA Stages 3 - 7. The Project has successfully gained all the statutory permissions and it is currently emerging out of the ground. We are working closely with the client and construction team in order to make this a successful build.

Clients Brief: Design a residential development comprising 12 dwellings_6 x one bed apartments_6 x two bed apartments_Contemporary design.
